Stacy Macris, MPH, Dietitian & Certified Reiki Master

Stacy finds her work at the Natural Healthcare Center very enjoyable when she can blend Chinese medicine with her background in science.  She has worked in both private practice and research emphasizing individualized eating plans that meet the needs of the client.  Stacy loves working with people and helping them achieve health and well-being in their lives.  Her family’s emphasis on healthy eating inspired her to study nutrition at Michigan State University.  After graduation, she completed her Dietetic Internship at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital.  That same year she also graduated from UCLA with a Master’s Degree in Public Health, specializing in family and community programs.  This is where her passion for educating others grew stronger, and continues to this day.

During her 20s, Stacy turned to acupuncture and Reiki to heal health challenges she was experiencing.  Inspired by the insight, beauty, and the deep state of relaxation she experienced during a Reiki treatment, she decided to learn the art of Reiki for herself.  Through the practice of Reiki, she discovered an innate talent in this hands-on healing technique.  She went on to become a Reiki Master and started her own practice in the Fall of 2007.  Stacy loves treating clients with Reiki Energy and is now a passionate teacher of this ancient Japanese art of healing.

Stacy offers nutrition consultations, classes and guidance as well as Reiki in Thousand Oaks here at the Natural Healthcare Center.

Katie is also passionate about helping the client to become more aware of his or her body to prevent further injury or strain due to muscle overuse.

Within her personal life, Katie is passionate about living a healthy and full life, while spending time outdoors with her dog, Murphy, rock climbing with her husband, or mountain biking. Jackie Perkins - Massage Therapist

Jackie is a certified & licensed massage therapist in Thousand Oaks who has worked at the Natural Healthcare Center for over 2 years. Her massage techniques are wonderful for relaxation and peace of mind.

For the last eight years she has been specializing in Personal Therapeutic Massage, customizing her sessions to meet the needs of each individual.  In every massage session, her first question to her client is, “How is your body, and what do you hope to gain from today’s visit?” Her strength lies not only in her physical skill, but in listening to each client so that optimal healing and relief can be achieved at each session. As Jackie puts it,"I like to help people, and I want to help make their pain go away."

Please pick-up one of my brochures at the Natural Healthcare Center to find out what else I offer as a massage specialist, including The Herbal Body Polish.

When she is not working, she enjoys musical theater with her husband and two daughters, as well as running along the beach with her dog, Molly.
